Sharing our Journey in Grace

Family Grace has a very specific purpose: to share with you our journey as a family to apply the gospel to real life. The breadth of our writing will include working through the daily struggles of pursuing Christ together, confident that our right standing with God is based in the completed work of Christ in his righteous life and substitionary death and resurrection. Our desire is to walk with those who desire to pursue sanctification by the power of the Spirit, keeping the grace of the gospel at the center of all of life.

Our plan is for me (Vicki) to post at least once a week, and all the rest of the family, including the young adults (translate teens) as well as my adult children and hubbie to post as time allows. The impetus behind this blog has come from many encouraging words from friends and young families in response to conversations about applying the gospel to everyday life. We are very aware of our own weaknesses and struggles with sin and self, but even more aware of God's faithfulness and sovereignty in our lives and the life of our family and church communities.

From commenting on sermon reflections and devotional thoughts to opening up about how we apply the gospel to parenting, we hope to be an encouragement to you to believe that God will complete His work in all of us, to the praise of His glorious grace!
